Rewiring institutions to achieve genuine gender equality is paramount in creating fair and inclusive societies.
Through its various work packages, RE-WIRING seeks to examine and address the multifaceted challenges hindering gender equality across different sectors and contexts.
The project serves as a platform for sharing insights, best practices, and innovative solutions among diverse stakeholders, including policymakers, researchers, practitioners, and advocates. By pooling resources and expertise, RE-WIRING aims to develop comprehensive strategies that can effectively dismantle barriers and foster environments where all individuals, regardless of gender, can thrive.
In order to move this forward, it is crucial that we meet to share the progress of the project. Our RE-WIRING in-person consortium meeting will take place in Gdańsk on April 18th and 19th. On April 18th, the first day of our meeting promises a robust agenda geared towards fostering collaboration and driving progress. With updates on Work Packages, discussions on inclusive communication, strategic planning sessions, and a focus on career development, participants can anticipate a day rich in meaningful exchanges and networking opportunities. It’s the kickoff to a concerted effort aimed at advancing our project’s goals and making a lasting impact in our field.
April 19th marks another pivotal day in our meeting agenda, focusing on inclusivity and community engagement. We’ll explore the importance of inclusive language and decolonization perspectives in our project outputs and we’ll dive into local stakeholder engagement. Esteemed members of the advisory board will join us, providing invaluable insights from various sectors. Their contributions will enrich our discussions and ensure our project remains responsive to the needs of our community.
This meeting provides a crucial opportunity for participants to assess progress, identify emerging trends, and refine approaches based on real-world experiences. It reinforces the collective commitment to advancing gender equality and underscores the power of collaboration in driving meaningful change.
