They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so here’s a summary in images of our consortium meeting held in Gdańsk on April 18th and 19th.
Rewiring institutions to achieve genuine gender equality is paramount in creating fair and inclusive societies.
On April 18th, we shared updates on Work Packages, strategic planning sessions, discussions on inclusive and effective communication, and a focus on career development and dissemination strategy. It was the kickoff to a concerted effort aimed at advancing our project’s goals and making a lasting impact in our field.
On April 19th, we explored the importance of inclusive and decolonization perspectives in our project outputs and dove into local stakeholder engagement:
– Ewa Rumińska-Zimny, Vice Prsident of the Women’s Congress Association.
– Jolanta Szydłowska, Chairwoman of the Pomeranian Women’s Team | President of the Board of Gdańsk Foundation for Management Development | President of the Northern Employers’ Forum (FPP).
– Elżbieta Jachlewska, VicePresident of the WAGA Association, president of Their Own League (women’s football) | Gdańsk Centre for Equal Treatment.
They joined us, providing invaluable insights from various sectors. Their contributions enrich our discussions and ensure our project remains responsive to the needs of our stakeholders.
This meeting provided a crucial opportunity for participants to assess progress, identify emerging trends, and refine approaches based on real-world experiences. It reinforced the collective commitment to advancing gender equality and underscored the power of collaboration in driving meaningful change.
