We are an international team of academics associated with KU Leuven in Belgium, Utrecht University in the Netherlands, and the Netherlands Organization for Applied Scientific Research (TNO). As part of RE-WIRING research project, we are collecting information about the types of activities and skills that are central to people’s jobs. To do so, we are looking for people who are willing to complete a short survey (approx. 15 minutes) to describe the skills and behaviors they apply at work.
We are looking for people working in one of the two following domains:
- People who work in STEM (the natural sciences, technology, engineering, and mathematics). These jobs include – but are not limited to – lab technicians, software developers, computer scientists, IT support specialists, computer technicians, network or system administrators, data scientists and statisticians, and people who work in biology, (bio)chemistry, or geology. Further examples for jobs are environmental technicians or scientists, web developers, information or cybersecurity analysts, engineers, mathematicians, model analysts, database administrators, quality control analysts, manufacturing technicians, and material scientists.
- People who work in the CARE, EARLY EDUCATIONAL, and DOMESTIC fields, such as the healthcare sector, elementary education, childcare, social work, or domestic work. These domains include – but are not limited to – nurses, nursing assistants, paramedics, midwives, physical therapists, and occupational therapists. Further examples are childcare workers, social workers, kindergarten teachers, preschool teachers, orphanage caregivers, family support workers, child advocates, or primary or elementary school teachers. Elderly caregivers, personal or senior care assistants, assisted living aides, housekeepers, maids, household managers, or cleaners also belong to these domains.
If you are working in these domains, we warmly invite you to participate in our survey.
