On Wednesday, March 12th, the RE-WIRING project inaugurated the “Re-form the Norm” exhibition at the European Solidarity Centre (Gdańsk, Poland).
@re_form.the.norm compels us to critically examine the norms and standards in women’s workwear and protective clothing. The exhibition sheds light on how male-centered design standards impact women’s comfort, safety, and dignity in the workplace and beyond. By showcasing real-life experiences and research findings, “Re-form the Norm” challenges existing biases and calls for more inclusive design practices.
The exhibition will be open to visitors until April 14th, offering a unique opportunity to explore the intersection of gender, workwear, and safety.
We invite everyone to visit and reflect on how design standards shape workplace experiences for women. Don’t miss it!
