Strategies To Effectively Boost Women’s Presence in Leadership Roles

Posted by

PWN London is set to host a global interactive webinar on October 1, 2024, in collaboration with the European Union-funded RE-WIRING project and the University of Portsmouth. The event, led by renowned researchers Dr. Devran Gulel and Professor Karen Johnston, will focus on strategies to boost women’s presence in leadership roles. Mirella Visser, a key figure in the RE-WIRING initiative, will also contribute her expertise. Founder of the Centre for Inclusive Leadership, she brings decades of experience advocating for women’s empowerment in leadership roles. This discussion will explore innovative methods to address gender gaps by “re-wiring” institutional structures, rather than attempting to “fix” women.

Participants will have the opportunity to engage in dynamic conversations about the persistent challenges women face in the workplace, including representation and biases, and will exchange ideas on how to drive meaningful organizational change. The event is open to all, offering a platform for sharing experiences and fostering inclusive leadership.

With free registration and limited spaces, the webinar aims to support RE-WIRING’s broader goals under the UN’s Sustainable Development Goal 5 for gender equality. Register here for FREE!
